Hey Art! I agree completely. I hope to catch her when I am home in November. I'll be near Gruene at Sequin.

I am an enormous fan of her fiddling. She is sooo talented I wish I could hear her play Irish or european fiddle tunes. Wouldn't it be great to see her with Natalie MacMaster?

Another super performance. The whole band is good and I really like watching Ruby Jane play.

@GeorgieWise I don't know how many people I've heard say exactly that (including me!).

George, well written commentary and truer words were never spoken. Hope to see you Sunday.
PS: Some great shots of my back as well(orange and white). I'm sitting by the phone waiting my call from Hollywood :o)

Another P.S., I think Georgie meant to say fourteen years experience, Ruby started playing the fiddle (actually classical violin) when she was two years old.

Ruby is 16, she played on the Grand Ole Opry when she was nine (yes NINE) years old. I first saw her when she was 12. As Georgie said, she is the best fiddle player in the world. No exaggeration. And your 'write-up" about her is spot-on, Georgie. I'm sure I've seen you at Gruene Hall (I've never missed one of her
Sunday shows, going back to 2008), I'm sure I've seen you but I can't quite make out the picture of you, it's a bit too small. The title of this song is "Soldier's Joy", by the way.
P.S. Hope to see you this coming Sunday (May 15) at Gruene Hall, Georgie.

@artsevere I meant forty years in a metaphysical sense. She's been a fiddler for several past lives already. Never has reincarnation seemed more feasible.
