OMG she actually made a vid that has a plot!!
Okay, this vid tells a story very specifically about James in the direct aftermath of Elizabeth's rejection. It begins with him moments after, seeking refuge on the Dauntless, then follows through the months. He tries to forget her without success and so buries himself in work. He becomes obsessed with bringing Jack to justice, projecting his anger at Elizabeth onto the pirate. He sails his ship into the hurricane despite warnings from his crew and friends and, of course, the ship is lost. Crippled with guilt, and still tortured by memories of his love, he wallows in misery in Tortuga. Then, suddenly, Elizabeth is there with him. It ends there.

This was lovely. I adored the song- and your use of the footage from Mary Bryant. I especially loved how you added him writing Elizabeth over and over- really shows us his torment. Poor, poor James.

I haven't told you this, but I love this video. James is always trying to start over again, isn't he? And he does try to move on from the past, but some things you can't leave behind you... some things you don't want to leave behind you.

see, i wanted to whole video about how miss swan falls off the cliff, and then norrington would be like "well, i believe in clean breaks." and then play the music to a sad montage of norrington.
