Is it possible to change the settings so It shows the final render appearance with all the maps applied straight away without rendering it? Iv'e seen afew videos of peoples models like this and I cant find anywhere how to enable this.

3DS Max is free to download for students, much easier then downloading it illegal ;)

Whenever I render out the image it doesn't work. It just shows dots of green( I'm using a forest image I got from google). It's still a .jpeg file.
