  • How well does the false bottom fit and filter the mash ? Is there a couple of inches of space below the false bottom ? Only asking because I'm debating on either using a false bottom, a manifold, or a combo of the two. I read somewhere of ppl converting to the manifolds.

  • @livnlarge1980 Yep full false bottom and it has a good 2" under it. I don't know if it make a difference or not. I am still tweaking the system and efficiency. I helped calco supply brew with his propane brewery and the next day he helped me brew and he's efficiency was higher than mine. Search for calcosupply to the that video.

  • I bought them off ebay they were less than two each.
