I was harassed for a couple of years by JWs after I left, not just the elders. Though they certainly helped. Glad you're out and I wish you the best, Steph.

This is a case of "it takes a village" to help those who have exited the JW cult. When someone's entire social support is stripped, it can be an extremely dangerous time. Together we can create a safety net for others in similar situations. I wouldn't be here today without that help. Thanks for sharing my experience, Ruben :D
