Era casi media noche, la luna estaba alta en el cielo. El hombre ilustrado no se movia.
Yo habia visto lo que habia que ver, los cuentos habian sido contados, habian concluido.

Closed his eyes and, with very slow movements, opened his shirt. Then, with the end of the fingers, touched his skin. It was almost half night, the moon was high in the sky. The illustrated man was not moving. I have been seen what I should have been to see, the stories had been told, has been concluded.

* These images belong to the preparations of the Performance Al Cerrar los Ojos (when closing the eyes), made it at the touristic complex Soroa and Havana by Manuel Mendive (La Habana, Cuba, 1944), who we can see in this film illustrating bodies personally.
