This just blew my friggin mind! I was like "Holy crap!" It's the character's that aid you in "Castlevania III"! But it's not really them. It's zombie (or undead) creatures that assume the forms of them! Grant was a pirate in the original who's family had been slaughtered by the Count. Sypha was a wizard woman that had no real motive. I guess just a good spirit that wanted to aid in the destruction of Dracula. A lot of people don't know this, but she's actually the ancestor of Carrie from Castlevania on the Nintendo 64. And finally, Alucard, who in that game simply implies he wants to battle his father. They don't really clarify as to what his motives are either like they do in this one. It's obvious in this one that his half-human side and his mother's influence played a big part in him choosing to fight for good. Unknown to a lot of people is the fact he is actually Trevor Belmont's father in "Castlevania III" because he had a relationship with Trevor's mother, "Sonia Belmont". The first one to ever defeat Dracula! So it's like he was teaming up with his son in that game so, it's like he's Richter's Great Great Great Grandfather!
A really cool battle! One of teh best in the game I think! They're attacks can be brutal if they corner you, so don't let them! Take every avenue to stay away from corners!
@jeffstartropics Ooookay. Don't think I've ever heard someone be quite so vocal about Grant. Personally, I'd like Sypha to be the playable one. I'm always a sucker for female heroes :p
Or they coulda always made all three of them playable!
