I was their That day-.-

I was at knotts when this happened. I was waiting in line for ghostrider and everything started to sway. The rides closed but opened after an hour.

I was in disneyland that day also. We were underground watching the bugs life show and we felt swaying but thought it was the attraction lol. Our parents were outside sitting on benches and people were walking by and felt nothing while they were rocking back and forth haha. Scary to think we were underground when it happened though lol

i live in cali next to disneyland but i was at disneyworld that day on vacation wen my family called me and told me that disneyland was closed due to an earthquake,i got lucky! :)

I was just about to get on the tower of terror when the building started swaying. Crazy! I was a little scared the rest of the day but the lines were short. They never even made an announcement or anything. We are from Ohio and our family called us becasue it was on the news in Ohio that Disneyland had closed.

hello just though i would give my two cents ...my family and i were stuck on pirates when the earthquake hit we were right at the big pile of treasure we had to stay down there for about 45 mins. and after time and time of being told that we had rough seas ahead a cast member came down and informed us of the quake near calexico all in all the rest of the day was great seemed like a lot of ppl left after that and our longest wait after that for any ride was no more tha 35mins

i was their that day when it happened. i was about to get on the california screamin and it came and shook pretty big for like a little over 35 seconds and it was crazy. but hecka people left and they reopened the rides and since alot of people were gone it wasnt busy and we got to get on all of the rides pretty fast.

i was at disneyland that day, but i was in the haunted mansion when the earthquake happened so i didnt feel it
i'm glad no one got hurt, but did you get your money back?

@ROSE911GUNDAM I didn't get my money back because I have an Annual Pass and I go every weekend, but I did hear other people tried getting their money back because part of their day was ruined. The rides weren't closed the whole day, but some took longer to reopen than others.

@thetikighost I hope they
when this earthquake happend, i was at my brother's house. I always wanted to be in public to see how others react to the earthquake. when you're there, how did others around you act? what did they say? did they panic?
also, i wonder what happen when the earthquake strike and ur in the middle of the ride, did they evacuate people from the ride?

@ROSE911GUNDAM The people around me were calm, I would say probably half of everyone didn't even know about it, and almost all were upset about the rides being shut down. I heard one person say "there was just an earthquake" and at first I thought he just made it up, but I went to Haunted Mansion after that and people said there was actually an earthquake. I didn't see anyone panic. When you're on a ride during an earthquake, it has an emergency stop function, and you get evacuated off the ride.
