  • Here in Switzerland you can buy the for $80 - 100 and we are still shoting competitions with them.

Swiss shooter swear on the k31 becaus you can shoot better than with a modern swiss army weapon.

  • I have a K31 and dam proud of it. Even though i payed 225 euro for it. Its in excellent condition and also have the troop name tag! (The guy who used this rifle during its service was one Edelmann Ernst)

  • Swiss make their rifles with the precision of a Swiss watch. Being a Swiss citizen and owning one of these guns...it makes me proud!

  • My K31 is the most accurate milsurp rifle I own hands down. 2" groups at 200 meters is not uncommon. I have even taken it deer hunting in Michigan many times.

  • The Swiss don't make junk.

  • only 582 thousand k31s were produced for the swiss government. sorry

  • @TheRossBeast I think it shows the difference between quantity and quality. WW2 Mosin Nagants may lack in looks, but they'll work admirably if maintained. That includes cleaning out the reciever/bore of cosmoline to avoid the sticky bolt when the action heats up from firing. I have a 1942 No.4 Lee Enfield here, 1941 K31, and 1941 M1 Garand. The Americans and Swiss weren't rushed into making rifles as fast as possible like the Russians. I have a refurb 1939 M91/30 as well, pre-war beauty.

  • the k31 was replaced in 1957 by the sig 510, not in 1958, but the rest of the video is ok!

  • @LukasMatthys I'm going to Switzerland, would they sell them to foreingners?

  • great rifle, kicks like a mule

  • Did see some combat.

A brief spat at the Bagni di Craveggia in 1944.

Officially Swiss didn't take part but at a certain moment had to forcibly convince Italian units allied to the Germans to stay clear of border.

The specific terrain and long range capacity of the K31 was convincing enough.
