im about too buy my first 22, i want too learn long range shooting but i know to start of small. Question is should i buy optics straight of or should i learn to use iron sites first.

@ssir9 Unless you buy a real target .22 like a CMP Kimber or a Winchester 52D with target sights, it won't mimic real long-range shooting. You CAN buy a cheap scope with good reviews from Midway USA and practice sniping away inside 100 yards.

What Barrel and what trigger do you prefer on that weapon?

Got some of the Volquartszen trigger group in and a Titan Barrel. They helped, the stock stuff isn't very good.
