Disinformation - Phosphorescent Light, Shadow, Sound Installation in Ghent

"The Origin of Painting" light, shadow, luminous graffiti and sound installation by Disinformation, live in the "Night Vision" programme of the Courtisane Film Festival, Kunstencentrum Vooruit, Gent, Belgium, March 2010.

Courtisane Festival also featured the Disinformation film "Blackout" by Barry Hale, which appeared in the "Digest Sound" exhibition at Witte Zaal, Gent. Courtisane also featured films and performances by Harun Farocki, Stan Brakhage, Otolith Group, Lis Rhodes, Gary Hill, David Gatten, Morgan Fisher, Peter Kubelka, Karen Mirza and Brad Butler, Hollis Frampton, Semiconductor, Duncan Campbell, Imogen Stidworthy, Jeanne Liotta, Paul Clipson, William Fowler Collins, Dominique Pettigand and many others. Many thanks to Stoffel, Simon, Hiro, Evelien, Evy, Dirk and especially to Poulomi Desai. During Courtisane in 2010, "The Origin of Painting" was also requested by Light Festival Gent organiser Serge Platel for exhibition in 2011.
