You can make a similar mixture with milk and custard powder or (in UK) cornflour - make it very thick. Pour it into a shallow tray about 0.5cm thick, then whack it with the back of a spoon - just for a moment the conrflour mixture shatters like a pane of glass. Cornflour mixture is "dilantant" meaning it gets more viscous when you apply a force.
@bernierinthazone all non-Newtonian liquids should exhibit this kind of behavior; which is kind of disgusting since blood is non-Newtonian (think blood fingers @ 2:08 - eww!!)
