@wilby2400 there was a lot more to it than that. The entire band hit rock bottom and just couldn't function on drugs any longer. It really began to set in during Draw the Line. They would have been pretty damn good with Crespo too if the timing was better. (less drug burn out). but Steven has said he and Joe are like brothers and it hit him hard.

Jimmy Crespo definitely had some style. Only thing is, he was in the middle of one of the best duos in rock n' roll.

@ROCK1910 He argued with Steven a lot and he decided to take his own path. Also there was some fight between his wife and Tom Hamiliton's wife. That's what their autobiography says.
