I have a question. How do you insert shade effects? Like, you draw a circle with a circle tool but you want to make it like a shade around it.

Where did you get the text of Super Mario Bros. 3 ?
I also want to add text... this seems cumbersome especially since I cant invert the text for an iron on picture I would like to do...any suggestions?

What you can do is select the text (say with the Lasso selection tool, for example), and then with the Move Selected Pixels tool, drag a side node to invert the text, and then once it's inverted, you can drag and drop the text to position it where desired.

Thank you for such great tutorials! I have my sons birthday party coming up and I would like to creat a put a cutout picture of his face onto a cartoon picture of a chef holding a pizza. Basically I want to be able to put my sons face instead of this cartoon guys face. How can I do that? In tutorial 3 you talked about pictures but not combining 2 or more pictures together to make some sort of collage. Thanks again!

What you could do is have the "chef" picture as the first image, and a picture of your son as the second image. On the second image, use the lasso tool to select your son's face and Edit/Copy. The going back to the first image, Add Layer and Edit/Paste that that face onto the chef's body, on the new layer, and the use the Move selected Pixels tool to resize the face with the corner nodes (while holding SHIFT), and then drag it into the proper place.

i have a Question?? what is the clone stamp for?!?!?
ZaynUchiha 2 years ago
More or less, the clone stamp is used to duplicate an area of your image into another area. Select a brush size for it, and then while holding Ctrl, select the area you with to clone (this will be your anchor point), and then draw onto another area, and you'll begin to replicate your drawing in the new area, starting from your anchor point. It's probably best understood if you use that info and give it a try.
