@legion1a I also don't believe God in the sense of a supreme being shaking his finger from eternity. Thank you for your comment! It shows that I have to look into my self to more clearly state my opinion because some people just act as devils advocate and pressure others to figure out what they really want to say. @legion1a I would be happy to know about any one thing that science has proved, 100% without a doubt. I didn't say gravity doesn't exist, as I know that it does.. but I do know that the current theory for gravity does not ring true to me so I have come up with one of my own. (Not that you are open minded enough to try to explain.. that would be a waste of time)

@Starpass No worries. I'm a firm believer in open discussion. Today we see too many people that are scared to say something because someone else might be offended.

I think most agree that the world is pretty screwed up. We're not going to fix it by not having some honest discussions.

@TucsonDave111 We see things differently. I didn't intend to push my faith on others. I was trying, by telling my story, to have others look at my confession and think of the possibility that God exists. I definitely mean no harm. I have no solid proof about whether God exists or if a bridge might collapse tomorrow. All I have is my beliefs to bring to the table for this thread. If you feel that I didn't bring anything of value to all this then I apologize. I know I babble a lot.

@TucsonDave111 Staying clean is my first priority. My second is my kids; or family. Since the ex left I have been happy although I cried for about three months, knowing she planned on taking the kids and leaving when she was in jail for shop lifting. I saw through her plan and only protected myself when the big fight happened when she got out. Three women cops came to see me and possibly charge me with assault until they saw my wounds. They were all defensive cuts and gouges.

@TucsonDave111 You have hit the nail right on the head brother. Organized religion sucks; big time. I don't like it; never did. Mind you; I can't stand authority over me; especially when the ones higher up the job market think they can push you around with their so called power. I don't like being told what to do. All I am doing here is telling about the special things I have gone through. If some of it changes a person for the good, then I am thankful for being able to help.

@TucsonDave111 In what way? Bipolar? I don't flipping know, but I wish I would have found out about it a long time before I hit 45. And no; I do not feel worthy enough to only suffer the first death. It's the second death, the death of my soul that worries me. Jesus came to me and told me to read the Bible. A week later He came again and told me to read.

I fear something big is going to happen. Maybe it is my death that might be looming round the corner. I don't know but I read.
