And finally, the true lord of darkness is upon us...if you'll recall, we haven't seen him since the first video of the character overview as Simon's opponent. You'll notice that this video is ridiculously short...as in the battle didn't even last two full minutes. That's the tricky thing about Dracula, he's oppressively powerful, and in order to overcome him, your best chance lies in avoiding close contact with him, as it's rather difficult for him to bring his power to bear at range.
His is a game of Dominance...this is but one term to explain Lord Dracula's power. It is one of command over all things, and save for the efforts of the heroic, all things are made to kneel before him. The same is true of his fighting style...he must dominate, or else he is probably in some serious trouble.
There are two ways to effectively combat Dracula, as he is yet another character of drastic departure from the usual rules of engagement. You can stand and fight, or you can flee.
Standing your ground to do battle with the evil count is a high-risk, high-yield strategy...because like any other character, he's not an unstoppable juggernaut, that would be poor form to abandon any pretense of attempt at balance in a fighting game. Insolent young master Alucard is more than happy to try to oblige in this regard, as the AI really knows no other way and is compelled by its coding to wage an all-out direct offensive against any foe. It works here, too...most of the time. The brevity of this video is merely a testament to what happens when Dracula responds properly to such direct attacks.
Flight is another perfectly valid tactic before Dracula's awesome might...because his most devastating attacks and combinations are ones that work best at close range and diminish in effectiveness as one gets further away. If you can attack at range or launch hit-and-away guerrilla warfare against him, there's really not so much that he'll be able to do about it. In fact, in a timed match, if you damage him enough to take a lead and spend the rest of the match running, there's almost certainly no way for him to stop you from winning. You may note that Simon, under my control, was forced to take this course of action...because unlike Alucard in this video, I am somewhat...less confident in my abilities in the art of oppressive offense, which is after all what the AI is built for at its highest levels in this game.
How unfortunate, then, that his personal throne room should be so expansive, as it actually serves to act against him...he's actually better off in other stages...practically any other stage is more preferable.
The major means of conveyance about his domain is by disappearing and reappearing elsewhere to taunt his enemy with his obvious superiority in order to spur them to launch a hopeless assault. He can even perform a dodge whilst being attacked in order to make the enemy's combo end prematurely, however bear in mind that in such cases a portion of your Hyper Gauge is consumed, but that is a .mere pittance to pay for the Lord's continued well-being, particularly since his vengeance will surely repay the deed in kind and replenish the missing portion of the gauge.
Furthermore, Lord Dracula has no need for "jumping" as it is beneath him. He will, however, for your benefit levitate himself above the level of the playing field at the height of a mere mortal's standard double-jump and cast judgment upon them from on high. He can summon his homing fireballs of darkness, he can call forth the pillar of hellfire to surround himself and the area below, and he can even command jets of flame to follow his enemy's every movement. He will remain airborne and free to attack until any of the following should occur: his Hyper Gauge reaches its empty state, he wishes to descend once more with the equivalent of a mortal's "jump" commands, or such a time as an uncouth challenger should dare to strike him.
Beyond his myriad means of attack, our Lord is of course gifted with the means of performing a Hyper Attack of his own. I know not the true nature of this attack, for it is indeed not necessary to make contact in any way with the foe...the Lord merely gestures and should the hapless victim not ready a guard in time or find themselves outside the area of his direct influence for this briefest of moments, the attack shall begin and the Lord will teach them the true meaning of suffering.
Alas, the marvelous tale of our Lord's coming (and those of his pitiful adversaries) to this time rift phenomenon will have to wait until some time a week or two anon from this very day, as the mortal who shares this paltry footage with you will not be available for several days hence on some manner of slothful retreat.
In the days leading up to this occurrence, other videos shall appear instead of these, perhaps...please do try to pretend like you enjoy those in the stead of the Judgment you surely crave.
Is this game worth to buy?

@alucardumineko316 Well, I thought it was fun, but I probably wouldn't recommend it for anything more than bargain bin prices. So if you like what you see and want to give it a try and $15 or so doesn't sound like a lot to lose, I'd say go for it.
