    this kid is talented,but you people are stupid. Randy Newman is thinking mans music not ignorant meat head music & if you don't care to think about the songs for what they are or you're too blind to see it then yes, you most certainly are stupid, ignorant or whatever else you wanna call someone that can only think in a literal spelled out & spoon fed sort of way.... geez... some peoples ignorance is just unfathomable...

    i really love this song. as I get older , I am getting tired of these clever "artistic meaning" songs. I guess Mr. Newman was kind of joking about LA when he wrote this song. Why cant you just "Say" what you think. I am tired of trying to figure it out. I can stare at a painting all day and not understand the big meaning behind it. If you see some injustice, why don t you jus t say it. I am tired of trying to be smart.
