Im writing a psychological analysis of this film, last year i wrote about it from a sociological perspective.feral children are very interesting. it really brings you to see that without the required nurture, a child can grow up to be no different than an animal.

@Kylena1000 He only manages to survive with aid. Without that aid, he would just stand somewhere in the woods and .. well yea, that's it, he would just stand.
So nah, he aint smart at all.
They were trying to teach him. Yeah, their methods were different, but also keep in mind the time period. Humans have come a long way on how to teach children with disabilities.
I don't think they were trying to be cruel or anything, they just weren't sure how to approach the situation.

Those first few years are very important.
This why I believe parental leave in those years is vital. Also early childhood education is essential. I know some Conservatives balk at paying taxes for this but that is misguided and huge mistake. Loss of human potential is a huge loss for society.
