This is a video of crysis in dx10 on a 4.82ghz QX9650, 2x 8800 Ultra black pearls Edition,4gb of DDR3 1600 @ 772mhz, and X-Fi Fatality.

All settings on Very High in DX10 except: shaders, shadows, and sound , which are on high. The post processing was turned on low, not because of performance but because I personally dont like the blur effects.

The Slight chops were due to my camera's battries running dead and telling me every few second but otherwise the game ran at around 25 fps lowest, 30-35 Average, and a highest of 50, during the recording.

Crysis(!the halo killer!) is an amazing game, and offers the best graphics and some of the best gameplay since the first half-life.

  • what's the name of the first song, the german one? It's really cool. Forza Steaua!!!

  • 1st-eisbrecher-leider, and 2nd-eisbrecher-vergissmeinnicht

  • A XFX 790i at the moment.

  • I havnt had any promblems with it, it has always worked at the 1920x1080 and most other resoulutions. It even worked at 1920x1080 with my old 7900gtx, so it has to be a promblem on your side. What are you hooking it up through? hdmi or vga?

  • Yea I would say so with 3x 8800s(kick ass) , I would get another 8800, but im now broke and in debt lol.

  • But dont get me wrong I loved COD4 and I'am a fan of its multiplayer(level 55 here). Its just I enjoy Crysis much more.

  • why is the strength shader not moving like it should be?

  • I have a 790i, I got it because it's faster than the 780i, but the downfall is DDR3. It's a faster clock speed, cooler, and takes less power. However, the latancies are unbareable. I got the cheapest DDR3 I could find and have it running now at 800 mhz 5-5-5-15, which is pretty standard for DDR2, but the DDR3 has a little more bandwidth and runs cooler.

  • hey nice video! whats the mobo?

  • Thanks for mentioning the hd cable that didnt even cross my mind i went and bought a dvi to hd cable cost me £50 but worth it now i have 37" of 1080p full hd running at 1920x1080 crysis looked nice before but it looks loads better now. im getting another ultra next week which is defo needed now.

  • i just bought a 37" hd lcd tv it also claimed 1920x1080 res but when i got it set up i found out that thats the tv res, when used for pc its only 13somthing by 768 well disapointed :( apparently there is no lcd tv that will run a pc at 1920x1050 res. wondering how yours does.
