why is the strength shader not moving like it should be?

I have a 790i, I got it because it's faster than the 780i, but the downfall is DDR3. It's a faster clock speed, cooler, and takes less power. However, the latancies are unbareable. I got the cheapest DDR3 I could find and have it running now at 800 mhz 5-5-5-15, which is pretty standard for DDR2, but the DDR3 has a little more bandwidth and runs cooler.

I havnt had any promblems with it, it has always worked at the 1920x1080 and most other resoulutions. It even worked at 1920x1080 with my old 7900gtx, so it has to be a promblem on your side. What are you hooking it up through? hdmi or vga?
