Newly rediscovered 'Top Of The Pops' performance of a live (genuinely live, ie. no backing track, lip syncing or overdubs - a rarity on TOTP, it still has all the tacky 70's effects though) performance recorded on 3rd January 1973 and broadcast only once the day after and then lost for 38 years when the BBC wiped the master tape, but thanks to a cameraman liberating a copy at that time it has been rebroadcast in all its glory yesterday for the TOTP2 Christmas Special. This is a pure version without - complete and unedited and without Mark Radcliffe's voice-over and most of the captions.

Thanks for this excellent HD upload of the previously 'lost' BBC film of thrillingly live Bowie and the Spiders from Mars! The best-dressed band in 1973, without a doubt.
