g lens adapter with aperture control

http://www.16-9.net/nikon_g/

The horror that is cross toolization using nikon lenses on canon cameras! easy when you have the adapter. but no control over aperture unless you have an old school nikon lens that has the aperture ring on the lens. which is fine if you are shooting with the nikon 50mm f1.4D. or the tamron 28-75mm f2.8.
the adapter is a Kawa adapater, costing £20 Bought on amazon.

  • does everything function correctly? like auto focusing and stuff?

  • @barekantspel789 not possible, no auto focus no aperture control, no auto focus conformation, but check my other channel and you will see an updated lens adapter

  • you cant focus to infinity with that

  • @pav2k who needs that anyway? also what makes you say that as i have not noticed that before and i have been using it for 2 years now

  • @dombower well you probably didn't shoot outdoors with wide open apperture

  • @pav2k If i am shooting outdoors what ever i am shooting will be at the hyperfocal distance so no need to go to infinity really.

  • Nikon utilizes a shorter distance from the mounting flange to the sensor than Canon, thus infinity focus is indeed possible. If you were to mount a Canon lens to a Nikon camera, you would lose infinity focus, because of the increased distance. I'm thinking of getting one of these for my T3i, because Canon consumer lenses are POS in my opinion. I already have the 50mm f/1.8g and ef 50mm f/1.8 II. The Nikon lens is much nicer of the two. Have fun :)

  • does it work well. do recommend doing this?

  • if you do that for the 10.5mm fisheye does it have a 180 degree field of view on a canon

  • is it applicable to any model of canon? im using D1100. and how much is that ring? thnks!
