This man stands at attention, holding a salute for the entire four hour parade of motorcycles during Rolling Thunder. He does this every year and has done so since 2002.

We met him later and when I thanked him for his service and what he'd done that day he said "See all those guys (veterans) who won't be here next year? They're why I do this."

  • @reejon1 I wish you hadn't removed your second comment.

My father served in The US Air Force and was also in VietNam. Thank you, Sir, for your service.

  • @hahtsauce SSgt stands for Staff SARGEANT, and when I was on my flight back home to Memphis from DC SSgt Chambers was on the same flight. When he was addressed as "Sarge" by a fellow Marine (a gentleman who'd served in WWII) he answered to it with pride.

  • The longer video of this is amazing. It shows his face and you can see the entire spectrum of emotions as well as the fatigue he endures. To me this embodies what our military men and women endure, they simply do the things we can't or won't. My hats off to him and all of our soldiers.

  • FOUR HOURS?! That is a true feat. Dress uniforms are hot and unforgiving - what an amazing soldier.

  • @thepowersportschanne What do you mean exactly?

  • he's actually standing at present arms

  • @jjlapsr1 GOD bless you sir. and thank you

  • Those that can't do things like to mock those that can do things, It makes them feel better about them selves with out risking any efforts

  • @jtcol1966 @jtcol1966 I agree with your concern & sentiment. I can feel the hurt jjlapsr feels in the frustration of the downfall of our society under the current administration.-- Vet-- 560th MP Co. Pleiku 1972
