@WaffleLoyalist He's lagging because he hasn't got a gaming grahics card installed on a 3D rendering card the (Nvidia Quadro 5010m).
-
@WaffleLoyalist It goes into power save mode when it's running on battery, performance drops by a lot.

whats with the lag? thought this was the best gaming laptop around?

Hey rayman77792 , this laptop costs a bit .. Explain 2 me what level of web design & development would you like to do : ) I mean this will do anything ... But say a entry level macpro might be ok as well .. Most peeps buy this beast for gaming .. I bought it for gaming & 3d modelling ..

Rayman77792 , This laptop is all you will ever need my friend .. Considering it has desktop processors . Will do you just nicely. .
Own one myself & all 3d modelling , etc runs sweet as a nut ... Also u don't just play games on this .. You benchmark them : )

I'm looking to buy a very powerful laptop for web design and development. Would this labtop be practical for someone who isn't that much into gaming.

@epictwiglet Are you aware that Alienware used to get their laptops from Clevo before Dell bought them out? To be blunt, Clevo's are equal if not higher quality than Alienware; they are the most durable laptops on the market. I would take one of these any day over a M17x.
