You are absolutely correct! Legal department didn't want to pay: publishing/writing/performance royalties for snippet of "Smoke on the Water" {Blackmore,Gillan,Glover,Lord,
Paice} in the middle of the song. This version lacks a certain continuity minus that passage. Too bad the record companies weren't this dilligent about copyright infringements a decade later. Would have financially derailed the entire Rap roster of every label by demanding payment for every stolen riff and bastardized sample. 3 years ago 33

this is off cultosaurus erectus... 1980 kids!!! BOC used to warm up for touring using the name the soft white underbelly.. ive seen them probably 150 times!!! they had lasers before anyone!!!

On some Cültosaurus Erectus LP covers "the kronos" was on the small rocket ship.
I have two CE lp´s, one with the Kronos, one without.

@porterhead Agreed. Why was Buck's solo cut? The second half of that run is one of the greatest in 70s rock history.

I hate the edits in the song--taking out the "Smoke On The Water" bit kinda screws up the solo (in that "look how much better Johnny's playing got!") and the solo itself is very truncated. One of my fave B.O.C. albums.

The main character of the video is actually Eric with his beard shaved off. The live shots of him have him wearing a fake beard.
