I did a quick Photoshop test to see if this is an accurate size comparison, and AMD is hugely exaggerating the relative sizes of these two resolutions.
In actuality, the center frame is closely representative of 1440x900. Don't get me wrong; 1600p and 1080p are miles apart (1080p = 2.1 megapixels, 1600p = 4.1 megapixels). I just hate false advertising.

@Reconciliasion Not necessarily if you were showing off your fps/benchmark. The quality is low on youtube, increasing resolution is just more pixels of low quality so you would have to play the game for yourself.
@ whoever made this video "thanks AMD"? Solutions from both NVIDIA and AMD could out put resolutions higher than this long before this video. Should be thanks... (monitor manufacturer) for a newly released display with XHD if one just came out or you only just got one? :P

only people who game at 1680x1050 or lower resolution will see a difference from intel to AMD.
this is known as a cpu bottleneck.
