Really? whats on the sydenham line? i came 2 melb 4 first time last month and went on about 10 of the 16 lines.. i mostly used the caulfield grop lines as i was stayin in south yarra

The Belgrave/Lilydale line is always used - there's a one or two hour period in the middle of the day when it's roomy and the rest of the time it gets pretty packed. The distribution of housing in melbourne greatly favours the east so those lines would get used more than lines out to the north or west.

I was wondering which of the melbourne train lines are most used? And which are least used?? ie. which are mostly always packed and are any almost always empty??
