cKc Salvation

New review for a new knife. This is the cKc Salvation, one of the latest production from Kyley Harris in NZ (2010). The Salvation was initially meant to be a Leuku type of knife with a scandi convex grind. As things went along it became this full convex mirror edge knife. The handles are Wenge wood and it has two mosaic pins and lanyard hole. This knife was ground by hand by Kyley and it's coming from stock removal of a O1 bar of steel.
The handle design fits my hands very well and is very comfortable. Interesting fact is that the Salvation is a Unique Piece so they will never be another one made (right Kyley ;)?)
I feel quite priviledge to own this nice piece of cutlery.

Je l'avais manqué cette vidéo : encore une fois n très bel outil qui puise son esthétique dans sa fonction... simple efficace. Avec ce petit supplément d'âme du "fait main" en plus.. le wengé, les pins moaïques, le poli miroir... vraiment superbe!

@74Leman Quoi, comment? Manquée, bon ca ira pour cette fois! Ouai encore un bon couteau de chez cKc, je peux voir une nette progression en qualité de finition en 6 mois. Les qualités intrinseques du couteau ayant toujours ete presentes
