Say what you want about Noam. He speaks the truth. You cannot fault his history. That alone is far more than you people wanting to justify 911. No, Neither Chomsky, nor RP were wrong. As Chomsky correctly noted, RP's statements were not controversial. Not at all. What's remarkable is the response of many in the audience, not to mention the other droolers on the stage, in response to the basic facts RP said. What's controversial is the lack of money going into basic history lessons, if not extensive therapy, for the folks booing or who believe they heard something odd. Paul's comments were no more controversial that saying Bush was dumb.

We are duplicitous in our foreign policy. We say we want to spread democracy throughout the world; however, we prop up puppet dictators who prevent the very democracies we claim to desire. It is a sham. The global elite who currently run our corrupt government want to control the entire world by any means necessary to bring about their fascist utopia.
