our homage to an obscure musician from kentucky.my dad, Charlie Rice, knew carlos.he lived in houge holler ky at the same time as carlos did.(so dad claims anyway) dad and carlos's older brother joined the navy at the same time.my dad was a big fan of little enis and as i myself became interested in guitar,i was never as good as little enis, dad would say.no one was ever as good as little enis ! so after years of hearing about little enis ,one day i was just googling stuff and little enis name popped into my head, and so, i typed in "little enis",certain that nothing was going to come up,and well by gosh,it did!! the best site on the internet regarding little enis and other obscure musicians is garys country.the web adress is located in the video, when you go over there tell gary you love him!! im sorry ,Dad,that we didnt get this finished in time for you to see it.i thought we had plenty of time,i guess we were wrong.

  • A great singer, musician, and all around great entertainer. The very light picture of him and J.D. Crowe was taken when they were both teenagers down at High Bridge KY. They jammed a lot together before they both started out getting good music jobs of their own. Thru the years The Table Toppers Band was the best in the country with Enis, Bucky, Frank and Johnny. They were the cream of the crop and they filled every place they played . Lots of super talent there. Thanks for posting.

  • thanks for posting! :) Love it!

  • @MidwestKamikazeDisco I suppose most everyone who was familiar with the band knows that after Johnny left the band and moved away - Jerry came in as drummer. Still a great band, unsurpassed I feel.

  • @MidwestKamikazeDisco I am so sorry about your dad. Losing a parent is traumatic at any age. Our memories help sustain us for sure.

  • Nice tribute to the best upside down, backwards guitar player what ever was. What a guy he was! Visit my tribute page to Enis at Gary's Country. URL in profile.
