Nonsuch island is a limited access wildlife sanctuary. The restoration of the island is the lifetime work of now retired Bermudian ornithologist and conservationist David B. Wingate, and part of his effort to bring back from near-extinction the once plentiful seabird, Cahow, and the reintroduction of other endemic species of plants and wildlife.

I am shocked to be the first person to comment. I have never had the chance to explore the islands of Castle Harbour but was fascinated to see on TV in the UK the film made to show the Green Turtle being re-introduced. Bermudians must protect their wildlife inheritance. The proposed development at Tucker's Point must not succeed so close to such an environmentally sensitive place.
