"The shit" is helping people understand synthesis and hear the functionality of these synths as it actually sounds, without genre preferences, effects which conceal the actual sound, or other ACTUAL shit. I saw one of these on ebay going for pretty cheap thought about buying it but the only problem was that one of the keys was messed up and sprung. Can this be fixed without damaging anything.
