يا غزالا في الفلاة ما اجملك * هل ترى في قتلتي من حلك
قال خلي العشق لا تعبأ به * قلت لولا العشق ما دار الفلك
يا غزالا كيف عني أبعدوك * شتتوا شملي و هجري عودوك
كنت لا تصبر عني ساعة * علموك الهجر حتى لذ لك
قال لي طيف خيال في الكرى * قلت يا طيف الكرى من ارسلك
قال أرسلني الذي تعشقه * الذي بعض هواه أنحلك

أَغرُّ عليه للنبوة خاتَم * من الله مشهود يلوح ويشهد
وضم الإله اسم النبي إلى اسمه * إذا قال في الخمس المؤذن أشهد
وشق له من اسمه ليجله * فذو العرش محمود وهذا محمد
نبي أتانا بعد يأس وفترة * من الرسل والأوثان في الأرض تُعبد
وأنذرنا نارا وبشر جنة * وعلَّمنا الإسلام فالله نحمد

Dhikr as a devotional act often includes the repetition of the names of Allah, supplications and aphorisms from hadith literature, and sections of the Qur'an.

Sufi orders engage in ritualized dhikr ceremonies. Each order or lineage within an order has one or more forms for group dhikr, the liturgy of which may include recitation, singing, instrumental music, dance, costumes, incense, meditation, ecstasy, and trance (Touma 1996).

Dhikr in a group is not limited to these rules but most often done on Thursday and/or Sunday nights as part of the institutional practice of most orders.

A group dhikr ceremony in Arabic countries is usually called the hadrah. In Turkey the group ceremony is called Zikr-i Kiyam. The hadrah marks the climax of the Sufi's gathering regardless of any teaching or formal structure. Musically this structure includes several secular Arab genres and can last for hours. (ُTouma 1996)

The hadrah section consists of the ostinato-like repetition of the name of God over which the soloist performs a richly ornamented song. Often the climax is reached through cries of "Allah! Allah!" or "hu hu" ("He! He!"), with the participants bending forward while exhaling and stand straight while inhaling.

is this similar to what Salah-A-Dins men would have heard in theyre camp on holy days? its very hard to find the ancient holy chants. except for a Sufi chant sung in Punjabi i found from 1608. but thats too late in history. i want the old Nasheeds from the Crusader period! 1092-1187.

It's more like what Sufi mystics used to chant in their secluded circles and mosques in today's Iraq, Syria, Iran and Turkey, and for a general public during religious ceremonies, not exclusive to Islam. Much of these chants are very ancient and are based on the maqam system and older practices. It's the closes thing to what you're looking for. Check my playlist "Iraqi Sufi music"
