Are the numbers significant, or is it that mankind has the capability to be so cruel? Whether we are talking about 1 or 600,000- the loss of life by man's inability to live in peace is the point to be grieved.

No, you misunderstood. They played this piece four days after the September 11 attacks. This piece was chosen to represent the collective grief and suffering of millions of people around the world. Tiesto's version would not have been appropriate.

man i barely heard that tiesto had made a remake of this and i listened to the original but i like the other version better, i never samuel barber was dead

500000 people suffered birth defects and death because of the spraying of agent orange on Vietnamese forrests by america.

and everybody gets choked up over acouple thousand american deaths....
