Good set of bells, but 1 thing that came to my attention on viewing the bell being rung, should the sally(red white blue furry bit on the rope) ride the wheel as I always thought the sally shouldnt touch the wheel as it can cause problems

Well spotted! That bell, #4, has to be mounted below all the others, because of limited space. Because of that, the sally has to go round the wheel. The wheel itself, and the small guide wheel just above the grommit in the floor, were built extra wide, to allow for the width of the sally. We've not had problems with the sally itself, but we did have problems with the rope jumping off the side of the wheel because the guide pulley was not narrow enough to keep the rope in the centre of the wheel.

... continued If you look closely you can see I've added extra high plywood walls around half the wheel to prevent this jumping.
