Formless Expression - part 1

The shinai explorations has evolved into its own brand of entertainment with the formation of shinai explorations films ltd. Shinai explorations films will focus on creating longer and more entertaining films with wonderful sword fighting action and comedy. Films will be created within Canada and California as the chapter format has been let go in favour of a more epic movie like style.

The first movie that was released by shinai explorations films ltd was the 2007 THE SHINAI SPIRIT (C)

And so comes the new movie that was filmed in spring 2008 called FORMLESS EXPRESSION ( C)

The footage for this movie was compiled from many outings that happened this past spring and has been edited together by AXONIAN PICTURES for your viewing pleasure.

Lookin baxck on some of your vids. I like this one. Formles martial arts is what i find most beautiful. Bruce lee atempted it with the creation of jeet kun do. the whole idea meaning when one has a syle you will eventualy learn the moves and be able to read them, without form you are erratic, and unreadable. "to flow like water"

:) well with the shinai explorations its an on going process of change- and it always remains formless because even when we get comfy with moves and ways we comunicate- one of us forces the other to change it - and its always remains free flow:)
