Dr. Jennifer Furin, Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, highlights the challenges of diagnosing tuberculosis.

On 22 July from the Newseum in Washington DC, Jeanne Meserve (former CNN reporter) and Gerry Elsdon (a South African TV personality who suffered from tuberculosis) hosted a talk show featuring young people and women who suffered from the co-infection HIV/tuberculosis. By sharing their experiences and views, speakers gave voice to communities around the world affected by tuberculosis and HIV.
