Dark Souls Boss Guide - Part 9 - Ornstein and Smough

Ornstein and Smough are the second hardest bosses in the game in my own estimation. They're extra hard when fighting alone. My strategy here relies on the lightning blocking powers of the Eagle Shield (upgraded to +5 for extra stability) and the damage output of a Lightning Halberd. Where we're going we won't need armor - except the sack, of course.

The first twenty minutes covers the fight where Ornstein is killed first and big Smough is killed last. The last ten minutes covers the opposite scenario, wherein Smough eats it first and big Ornstein is taken down in the end.
