Follow me on my journey of triathlon training as I prepare for the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon this year. The preparation for the big race tomorrow, the A1A half marathon. I will talk about hydration and what I use as well as my formula for chia seeds and how I make them.

  • You are a hippy no longer. In the athletic arena, especially running, chia seeds are becoming very popular thanks in part to a book called "Born to Run" which is a highly recommended read by the way.

  • How funny! I was just going to mention chia seeds to you after reading about them today. Glad you know about them for the race!

  • Informative video, thanks. I'm the only one I know who uses chia seeds (and get called a "hippy" for it) so it's good to see someone else likes them. I mix in some Greens Plus Daily Detox for flavour and will give your concoction a try soon.
