A flock of Snow Geese take off, fly around, and resettle among a group of Sandhill Cranes at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, New Mexico. This is one of the flooded farm fields in the northeast part of the preserve.

Technical note: Sound was poor from this video due to wind, so I replaced the sound track with a recording I made later that same day at Bernardo WMA about 30 miles north of Bosque del Apache. Recorded onto a mini-disc recorder using an Azden shotgun mic.

  • You have some wonderful videos of birds and geese.

I have enjoyed watching them and seeing a little bit of New Mexico.
