Welcome Home- Avatar (Coheed & Cambria)

Hi, Sage here... after like, what, four months? Yeah... well, I'm doing Avatar: The Last Airbender videos now. This is my first. I should have a long time ago but I just didn't have the clips and it made me feel dirty to get them illegally. I felt like doing a rock-ish one, too, since it's been SO long since I've done one of those and this is the perfect series for it since like 75% of it is kickass fight scenes.

I'm probably not going to do Naruto videos again for a long time, if ever, because I had some computer issues and all my clips are currently unavailable.

That said...

GOD DAMN YOU TOPH!

Well, actually, I'm mad at most earthbenders here. They're like the ONLY benders who don't have many POW! scenes. Instead, they have scenes of them moving, and then scenes of rocks flying.

ARGH! Toph had some decent scenes of her crunching metal with her hands, I guess, but she was one of the last people I worked into the video (I got carried away) and I was losing my patience with her. Still, I snuck in her kicking a door down and going Iron Man on some firebender arse.

Now... JOKES! I had one obvious humor shot with Aang faceplanting into a bowl of... soup, I guess... a la Toph (hah! I SNUCK HER IN AGAIN MOFOS), but there were some subtle ones as well.

Firstly, "I'll never let go." That was two in one. For one thing, that's a reference to Titanic (and kinda blatant Toph/Sokka if you want to take it as a shipping thing; whatevs). For another... the font seen there is called Cambria. *badumtsh* I am a god of puns most people won't see without assistance. WORSHIP ME YOU PUNY WEAKSAUCES.

Um. Yes.

Sorry for getting kinda carried away with Azula scenes. *sheepish* I was excited about my first AtLA video and I just sort of picked the first character I felt like and threw a bunch of stuff in there. When I was done, she was taking up like a good third or even half of the video.

The song is the intro to Welcome Home by Coheed & Cambria, in case that wasn't obvious enough. Why just the intro? Because it's a fucking 6 minute long song with a lot of quick beats, which means it takes up a lot of scenes, which means even if I HAD enough scenes for the whole thing (and it would certainly be a stretch, I think), it would take me FOR-FUCKING-EVER to do.

No. Just no. Burn in hell if you want me to do the full thing. Just ... burn. in. hell.

Edit3: Oh, and Azula breaking the mirror? That was a godsend to AMV makers. That is all.
