It all started when greenmagoos thought he saw 2 literal lights reflected in Edgar Mitchell's visor in an Apollo 14 EVA video.

Knowing that the Lunar Extravehicular Visor Assembly (LEVA) had multiple layers of clear, but reflective material, I offered the alternative (and very likely) explanation that THE SUN was merely seen on these multiple surfaces. I even demonstrated it with similar materials--materials that THEY requested (sunglasses, etc.).

You would have thought that I dropped sand on their birthday cake.

For some odd reason un4g1v3n1 created a "music video" showing demonstrations of the Apollo LEVA at high speed. I'm still not sure I understand why. Nonetheless, he helped me demonstrate my point. All I did was slow his video down.

The point is simply this: It's highly improbable and very unscientific to conclude that what looks like two reflections on ONE Apollo video means more than one light was shining on the subject--especially when there is no other evidence supporting that claim (like 2nd shadows) and there is a far more likely explanation as seen in this video.

  • The twin reflections are off Burke's glasses, it doesn't take a space detective to work that out.

Poor show LT -- and highly dishonest I have to say sir.

  • @ApolloColumbo , nothing dishonest about it! My precise point is that several glass surfaces (including Burke's eyeglasses and the multiple layers of visors) are the cause of these double reflections and NOT multiple lights. I'm not sure you've followed the discussion too well.

  • Oh yes sir, certainly I have!

Unless you can show us an Apollo astronaut that wore glasses your video here is rendered a complete crock......pardon my language sir.

  • @ApolloColumbo , did you even watch this video? I think I circled 2 double reflections nowhere near his glasses!

You're not paying much attention, but I will at least give you credit for being polite.

  • The 2 reflections are inline with his glasses. Sad the only eg you can find is with a guy wearing specs hey....sir.

  • @ApolloColumbo There are more than 2 sets of reflections! Duh!

  • Cosmored The lunar recon orbiter has photographed the apollo landing sites, showing the apollos on the moon and tracks left by the Americans

  • "Cosmo, if you...do you?"

The government is filling the internet with disinfo to make it harder to come across the real info. All I did was make a collection of the stuff the government is trying to keep people from seeing. You pro-Apollo people keep playing dumb about it and trying to bury it to reduce the number of people who see it. All we hoax-believers can do to thwart that tactic is keep posting it.

  • @agent0300 SO Republicans always tell the truth, but Liberals always lie? Wow.

  • @runnermonkey im sure they will apollogize somday

  • I'm curious if you have ever compared the reflection of the sun in the visor of the astros on the moon compared to astros in near earth orbit? Why is the sun so big on the moon see: images on NASA roll (magazine 134/B) Maybe you can explain why the sun has rays in visors in near earth orbit, but turns round w/ no rays and a hot spot in the middle on the moon?

aulis dot com sunsize dot htm I look foward to an explanation for this clear indication of a spot light sun in the visors.

  • @runnermonkey

WTF? I thought the camera did not have a large enough resolution to do this. Do you have a link because I would love to see those photos.

  • @agent0300

Politics is an opinion. Opinions on what makes for a better nation. Comparing that to the binary nature of the truth of Apollo, it either is or it isn't, is not very logical. Please leave politics out of this, thank you. :-)

  • My view is the same that I have with liberals. No matter how often you use the truth to dispell their angry myths, they will always try to find something wrong with you argument. Just because it would hurt the postition of their precious point of view

  • If I may say so sir , your entire proposition is invalid because of the glasses worn by presenter Burke .

Bearing that in mind you cannot possibly determine from this one piece of footage shot from one angle the various reflection paths within the helmet layers involving the two sseparatelens of the specs..

You can attempt to pass it off as a valid example of two reflections, but as we've already established, none of the Apollo astronauts wore specs when suited up .

    So duh X 2 2u.......sir .
