@Likwidatorr It's relatively quite. The only sound you hear is the string vibrating along. Comparable to someone playing at less than pianissimo.

@heikoyh I use a Marshall MG Series 30DMX. I had the gain and reverb slightly midway I believe.

How does it sound without an amp, directly connected to headphones? Between a legit accoustic violin and a violin that has a bad cold (i.e. cheap electric violin), where would it stand?
