Yeah that rings a bell. Pres Bush (the first pres) said that in a campaign speech. He meant it but later when he was president the political realities and democratic congress forced him to give way to tax increases. He was sincere at the time but wavered later.Maybe his personality was not strong enough but many wish he didn't allow a raise in taxes.

I am as outraged as any right-thinking person about this latest and lowest Neocon maneuver. This incident has to be offensive to anyone except the most rabid supporters of their agenda.
However, it has its bright side. This incident has most certainly lost the Neocons even more of their evaporating support. Even the most hard-boiled right-winger must find explaining this away impossible.
The lack of right-wing nutcase comments for this video indicates that even they have no response.
