We once attended Seattle First Baptist together (Dr. Weber used to call you 'Jane-ANN'). I studied voice with you at your home in Bellevue (you had a kitty cat by the name of 'Sancho'). I sang with BCC, and later with the Seattle Symphony Chorale. I'm still enthralled by your wonderful voice, and happy to find your vid. Philip and I are still at the same address, and phone. Hope to hear from you.
I agree, but I am not sure that this at all the right repertoire for Ms. Houston to be singing... Her wide vibrato would find itself much more at home singing say...Verdi.
Back off on the vibrato a bit. It takes away from the piece because it was written in a crisp, clear Baroque style. Your heavy vibrato also makes it sound like you are doing double the work and this piece is intense enough as it is. If you can control it, then you've got this down.
