  • @ironguru777 Funny you mention that, as I do a similar version of sternums in which I actually do in a power rack. I grab the wide grip pull up bar from the opposite side, which forces me to lean way back to avoid hitting my face on the other parts of the rack. I just keep pulling all the way thru, until my chest hits the bar.

  • Bullshit, he's not touching his sternum to the bar at all. It's not even at his upper chest much less lower.

  • Hey...you did pretty good...you are obviously pretty strong...so try this out...use the same grip as you were, however stand on other side of machine...reach forward grab same hammer grip bars...pull up...you will now be forced to arch way back to avoid the machine hitting you in face...this will cause you to do a much improved version of the sternum pullup. Keep it!

  • that's not a sternum chinup...i used to do on what you're doing in that video...its easy that way....

    the real sternum chinup..well you should be leaning back throughout the whole movement(way harder)...the one in the video, when you're below (you;'re in a regular chinup position)
