I'm not entirely sure that his pseudonym warrants scarequotes. Further, from an Anglo-American tradition, any talk of Derrida is off-putting!

In the beginning of this video theres lots of dillydallying... but when he finally gets his Style Wars slide up, he makes a very sharp point... a great metaphor to get an initial vibe of Spooky's thought

Paul Miller kinda won me over with these lectures. He creates a compelling history of hip hop culture and trends. Good research.

he referred to Derrida once, just alluding to the fact that he also did work on archives

Something about "DJ Spooky" talking me about Derrida is off putting, but intriguing lecture nevertheless.
