@shootinshotguns Apparently I don't read my YouTube email very often since I'm just now reading and replying to this! I would guess you're 15, pushing 16, now. MM Dam is a bad place to swim. Although the water above the dam looks calm, it's the undertows - currents - that will get you.

@nutcase0001 yes i am even though im 14. great fishing spot. my dads father used to swim there and jump off boulders into the water with his pals! they also use to swim and jump off the rocks right at mcconnels mill dam which i think is very dangerous because of all that churning white water! now they dont allow it cause too many people drowned

Cool! Let me know when you do! I remember it like it was yesterday... well, more like it was last week. But it was probably more like 36 years ago. But it's nice to have old memories that are good memories too. It was a fun time for our whole family and friends.
We used to swim in Slippery Rock Creek, below Kennedy's Mill. Anyone familiar with that area? Note: that was back in the early '70's.

The deepest spot on an aveage day is about a hair under 6 ft. Most of the area is aout 4 1/2 feet I'd guess. Mostly people fish there. It was a swimming hole I used as a kid and ahvent went swimming there in years until lately
