Escape to Freedom (2008)

This is a movie I made for a Social Studies project with my friends in October of 2008. I know it's not perfect, but I tried to make it interesting with FX Home effects. I plan on making a sequal which will not only look better, it will have better acting, camera angles, effects, music, and much more. The sequal is to be released around summer of 2009.

lol why would you ever put this on youtube? I didn't actually watch it but I just imagined what would happen if i put my own up on youtube. i just wouldn't do it. for starters everyone in coventry is white, with the exception of a few people. second well there isn't really a second. and no i'm not trying to criticize i'm just saying I wouldn't have done it. but then again everyone sees your video anyways so no difference made i guess.

@jekzinder16 Well, it was a school project. I put it up since my friends and I really enjoyed making this. I also put it up so my friends could see it again, that's all. I wasn't really going for a "everyone, please watch" kind of thing. So, even if the majority of Coventry is white, so what, we had a fun time making this, and that's all that matters.

To anyone who's watching this video, I am planning on making the sequal around June or July, but before that, I'll maybe make a World War II movie or a James Bond type of movie. I may even direct a kind of Da'vinci Code drama mystery type of movie as well. These ideas all all on the drawing board, but the slave movie sequal is a definite desician. Enjoy our current slave movie and I'll inform you when I start producing the sequal!

But, he had to wear the shoes because when I filmed that, the ground was covered in really spiky acorns and other sharp things, which really hurt if you stepped on them

Great movie. You should do a sequal. Do you know that there were many white slaves prior to the civil war. All that was required was a drop of slave negro blood many generations ago. Slave status was deturmined by the mothers sttus. Therefore if a grandmother genrations back was a slave then all born after were slaves. Fathers could be free or slave masters -- their children were aways slaves if the mother was a slave... That was the law.
