*PRESENTED IN GST FULLSCREEN*

Taped on March 17th, 1978, the first of two pilots is taped for Card Sharks, the game of decisions and judging of human nature, where you can win a fortune on the turn of a single card. The designated champion is pilot man himself, Jack Campion, with $4,000 (assumingly). He faces off against Pam in this pilot. The only difference from the pilot and the show is that the tiebreaker used 4 cards instead of the 3 it used when the show was launched. Jim Perry hosts, Johnny Olson announces

  • I honestly don't get your point of uploading in both widescreen and fullscreen. I mean, all that's really different is that the "widescreen" version has borders and this does not.

  • @Hondo20132 When this was uploaded for the first time, I had to take it down because it didn't save properly. Another user at that time told me he only accesses my account through cellphone, which is only fullscreen. So, I still upload fullscreen for the benefit of those who can't view widescreen

  • @gameshowtemple In that case, what's the point in uploading in widescreen?

  • @Hondo20132 For those who can view widescreen. Also, the black sides of the video can be disappointing at times

  • The late Johnny "COME ON DOWN!" Olson was the announcer for the first two pilots before the late Gene Wood became the shows announcer, Olson along with Bob Hilton, the late Jack Narz, the late Charlie O'Donnell, and the late Jay Stewart also sub announced for Wood during the series run.

  • @tvtimetravel Either way, same thing; the Eights are horrible on Card Sharks.

  • @juan833blue Or the "Big Bad Eight"!

  • Aces are Awesome, Deuces are Great;

    but you better watch out for the mean old Eight!!!
