  • So good it makes you cry.

  • A wonderful vintage version of one of my favorite songs. Just beautiful song, one I sang many times to myself when overseas and separated from my family.

  • Grzegorz, What a warm and beautiful video! You are truly a ARTIST. Posting such a lovely video takes lots of talent indeed!

  • @KnockelII Does it though! This is just BEAUTIFUL indeed.

  • absolutely beautiful, how the fuck did we get from this to " yoyo soulja boi , just dance lady gaga", i mean im not surprised stuff evolved, but how could it go so wrong O_O

  • @guitaress1...... I have the sheet music. The verse goes:

"Evening marks the close of day, Skies of blue begin to grey, Crimson hues are fading in the west. Evening ever brings to me, Dreams of days that used to be, Memories of those I love the best." A Jazz disc jockey named Charlie Menees broadcast in St. Louis when I was a teenager back in the late forties, until he passed away a few years ago, used this as his theme song. I lived down the street from him later, Mine is a copy of his.

  • This song was sung by a male artist somewhere between 1949 & 1952. Does anyone remember who this recording star was. I love this song and that version was the best I have ever heard. I would appreciate any input. Thank you for posting this wonderful video.
