A Jazz disc jockey named Charlie Menees broadcast in St. Louis when I was a teenager back in the late forties, until he passed away a few years ago, used this as his theme song. This song was sung by a male artist somewhere between 1949 & 1952. Does anyone remember who this recording star was. I love this song and that version was the best I have ever heard. I would appreciate any input. Thank you for posting this wonderful video.

A wonderful vintage version of one of my favorite songs. Just beautiful song, one I sang many times to myself when overseas and separated from my family.
